Games Night
"September - May"
Games night
is an opportunity for children ages 5-10 to play organized games
in a supervised environment. Participants must at least be
attending kindergarten to attend. A snack and drink will be
provided. A parent/guardian must register in advance at the MUD
office.

Day: 3rd Friday of each month for kids 5-10 years old (Sept-May only)
Time: 7:00 10:00 pm

Homestead
Tours
The
Homestead is available for tours by schools, groups
and residents. The tours focus on pioneer life in the
mid to late 1800s. Tours are geared towards kindergarten
children through adults. Some tours require a minimum
number of participants. Tours are conducted September
through December and March through May. To book your
tour, call 251-9814.

Tennis Program
Little
Beginners
ages 4-6, very basic tennis.
Beginners
No
experience needed this level will learn basic mid-court
volleys and groundstrokes.
Advanced
Beginners-
Has mastered the Beginner class, midcourt volleys and
groundstrokes. Will work on full court groundstrokes and
learn the scoring system.

Fees for tennis
classes are as follows:
Monthly in-district fee = $30
for any combination of 10 classes on a multi-class card
Monthly out-of-district fee = $50
for any combination of 10 classes on a multi-class card
Guard Start program
Learn what it
takes to become an American Red Cross Lifeguard. This course
is designed for youth ages 11 - 14 who are interested in
becoming lifeguards. It provides an opportunity for
participants to experience many facets of day to day
lifeguard responsibilities. The course follows the American
Red Cross "Guard Start" program guidelines. The fees include
the cost of the books and materials.
Guard Start
Classes are offered 9:30am -10:20am June 11-22, June 25-July
6 and August 6 -17 at Katherine Fliescher Pool.
In-district fee:
$50.00 Class minimum = 6
Out-of District
fee: $65.00 Class maximum = 10

Stuff-2-Do day camp is a municipality-sponsored camp. We
operate weekdays between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 6:00
p.m. for children in and out of the Wells Branch MUD for
10 weeks. Our theme weeks offer
structured activities such as art and crafts, outdoor
and indoor games, guest speakers, storytellers,
swimming, and movies.
The Startlings are our youngest campers (5-7) and are
based at the Community Center at 2106 Klattenhoff Dr.
The Juniors are our older campers (8-10) and are based
at the Recreation Center at 3000 Shoreline Dr.

Babysitting Certification Class
Get certified as a babysitter and become more
marketable in your community. This program will teach
how to handle an emergency situation, rescue
breathing, holding and feeding infants, how to
interview potential clients, and age-appropriate
activities. Participants that successfully complete
this program will receive a certificate from the
American Red Cross. For ages 11-16 years. Participants
will need to bring a bag lunch.
